Walk through Gardenerd HQ with the Gardenerd herself, Christy Wilhelmi. She'll share her knowledge about growing food, and answer your burning gardening questions along the way. Come prepared to explore the different crops growing in the garden. Wear close-toed shoes and a hat for protection.

Christy Wilhelmi is the owner of Gardenerd, the ultimate resource for garden nerds. She is author of several books, including Grow Your Own Mini Fruit Garden, High Yield Small Space Organic Gardening, and the novels Garden Variety (March, 2022 William Morrow) and Bolting to Seed (June, 2026). She teaches gardening classes, does one-on-one consulting, coaching, and vegetable garden design. She grows a lot of her family's food at Gardenerd HQ and loves to grow heirloom veggies in small spaces. While Gardenerd HQ has a lot of space, Christy grows veggies using biointensive methods to get the most out of the sunny spots, and uses the front yard as a Mini Fruit Garden to keep the garden manageable and productive. She also helps run the local Time Bank, and participates in monthly produce exchanges.
