Tamal Making Workshop Sunday Dec. 6th, 2026 (10am to 12:00pm)

Spanish Tamale-Making Workshop for Kids Sunday 12.6.26 10:00am to 12:00pm

Come experience the joy of Spanish, food, culture, gardening, and literacy at My Escuelita Garden Classroom! In this hands-on two-hour workshop, children will make their own traditional tamales while learning and playing entirely in Spanish. Through cooking, gardening, storytelling, music, movement, games, and literacy activities, children will connect language learning to a meaningful cultural tradition.

Children will make 10–15 tamales to take home and explore The Great Tamale Treasure Hunt by Naibe Reynoso and Con Todo Press.

A joyful, hands-on Spanish experience where children learn by doing, creating, connecting, and celebrating culture. Parents are welcomed but seating is limited. I will have seats for children. ;-)
